Large Parrots to Loving Homes

There is a difference in birds hand-fed in small numbers in a home environment and birds raised in larger aviaries. We enjoy the reaction of our customers when they experience the joy of bringing their new parrot home. Please allow us to share some with you:
hi guys, just checking in…oh debra shes soooo spoiled.shes really started saying quite a few phrases and words. you should here her sing, she loves the song fly me to the moon. she cracks me up. she whistles really good too. shes just perfect. i love her so much and she gives it right back to me too. i bought her a halloween costume so ill take some pictures and send you one or two .   Sue, Buffalo, NY (Female Vosmaeri Eclectus) Hello Debra! It's been a long time and I just wanted to update you on the beautiful African Grey I bought from you folks. Perseus is now a little over a year old and is so funny. I had the bird sexed and found out he is a she. Not that it matters right? Anyway, she is my heart really. I know now that it makes all the difference in the world to buy from a breeder who has handled the bird as Perseus is so affectionate and loves to cuddle with me in bed in the morning. She is still sleepy and closes her eyes while I kiss her and scritch her neck. Getting this bird was the best thing I ever did and I thank you so much for the care and gentleness you obviously gave her during her early life. I cherish her and hope she is with me a long time. She is just beautiful, I don’t think we could love her any more than we do tonight. She seems to be adjusting just great, she has been in someones arms ever since she arrived. All her extended family stopped by to take a peek and feel the way we do already. She is such a loving little bird, so affectionate you could just snuggle with her forever. She loves all the attention she is getting, now the problem is between all of us of who's turn it is to hold her. I told you she follows me everywhere and if I am sitting or laying down she pulls on my clothes and climbs up to my chest and puts her head under my neck and lays there like a baby. She is so much fun, I cannot believe that she is talking so soon. She says "hello", "nite", and "what?" and when I say fly like an eagle, she puts her wings up in the air. I just love her. Hi Debra, Pepper did good on the ride home. We all think the world of him and love him. Thank you…P.S. He is getting more sleep than we are…we all stayed up most of the night to watch him sleep…lol Marilyn, Lafayette, LA (Double Yellow Head Amazon) Debra, …I can say that weaning him was very exciting and not as demanding as I thought it would be. I love him so much. I play with him for about 2-3 hours total a day. He gets along with the 3 dogs. He is very tolerant! They will come up to sniff him and he does not attack them. He just looks at them and the dogs go away. Johnny Rico does not yell and scream either like I thought he would. He calls out and babbles a lot. I can't thank you and Craig for allowing me to have a joy like Johnny Rico in my life. I consider him a friend. As soon as I can I will send pictures… Kris, Baton Rouge, LA (Blue and Gold Macaw)
